NORTH ATTLEBORO — When Kevin McCarthy bought a pet dog, he shortly discovered he experienced a dilemma. Not with his new pet, but with exactly where to get her.
Australian shepherds are an active breed and will need lots of workout. McCarthy realized, to his dismay, that his options — and his dog’s — were being limited.
He heard from a neighbor that she took her pet to a canine park in Franklin. When he followed suit he identified about 50 percent the people there were from North Attleboro.
“I thought, which is sort of an insult,” he reported.
McCarthy, 46, a mechanic at a Westwood automobile dealership, had not been involved in town governing administration ahead of, but a phone to town hall shortly disclosed that whilst the subject matter experienced been reviewed, “there was no one to get a canine park and operate with it.”
