Interesting animals coming to Wildlife Festival at Stampde Grounds
Calgarians can get up shut and private with some interesting animals this weekend, like wallabies, alligators and parrots at the Wildlife Festival.
Happening April 29 to Might 1, the occasion is becoming organized by the YYC Mother nature Centre, Cobb’s Journey Park and the Basis for Animal Rescue.
A few displays will be showcased, together with:
- Welcome to the Jungle, exactly where members will learn about the importance of our planet’s rainforests
- Australia Down Below, featuring some charismatic wildlife, and
- Responsibly Exotic, studying dependable care of exotic pets.
There will also be two 50 %-hour, arms-on academic applications:
- Reptiles & Invertebrates, and
- Mammals & Birds.
The function goes 1 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Nutrien Western Function Centre on the Stampede Grounds (1800 Stampede Path S.E.).
Masks are not necessary but they are encouraged. There will also be a peaceful hour for youngsters with sensitivities to crowds and sounds starting off at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Tickets can be obtained on line and people not able to invest in tickets because of to fiscal circimstances can also email organizers to make distinctive arrangements.
