Deer crashes into two Baraboo businesses

A deer in Baraboo crashed into two regional corporations leaving behind broken glass and a surprised proprietor.

BARABOO (WKOW) — An intruder broke into two Baraboo firms and forced them to shut down. 

Sarah Fay owns The Jewelers Edge in downtown Baraboo. She obtained a phone Monday early morning that the stability technique at the shop was established off. She reported she was not confident what to hope. 







Baraboo jewelry shop closed from deer attack

A Baraboo jewellery shop was compelled to near just after a deer crashed into it. The operator mentioned the deer still left broken glass in all places. 


“The safety business named followed by Sauk County dispatch and they said that there was an incident at the retail outlet,” Fay said. “And that a deer experienced run into the keep.”

Fay rushed to her retail store to uncover shattered glass and a path of blood. 

“The total of glass, particles and blood that was in all places, the showcases that it broke, I was very stunned by what I observed,” she spelled out. 

But the jewellery retail outlet isn’t the only position the deer toured. Fay claimed the animal also broke into a cafe a number of blocks down from her shop. That cafe was also forced to board up its door and near down in the meantime. 

“By the sum of blood it remaining below, I was rather shocked when I heard it still left and went other areas as nicely,” Fay stated. “Obviously the animal was likely suffering tremendously from its injuries.”

Fay claimed she did wander absent finding out one thing, “You know you happen to be from Wisconsin when this happens.”

Including, “How many other spots would you listen to of this happening from?”

The deer has not been situated.

Fay said it is really unclear what was improper with it but she hopes it is all right.
